In the following series of portraits, I refer to my encounters and feelings with local communities and explore the possibilities of making my memories and emotions as tangible as possible. In each portrait, I had the mission to connect with each person I have met during my journeys. I focussed in particular on capturing the energy and personality of the individuals. Where a portrait emphasizes the representation of the physical appearance, I especially had the interest to portray the inner beauty of people.
